Asthma has a number of signs and symptoms. The following are some of the basic signs and symptoms of asthma.
- wheezing, coughing and chest tightness becoming severe and constant.
- being too breathless to eat, speak or sleep.
- breathing faster.
- a fast heartbeat.
- drowsiness, confusion, exhaustion or dizziness.
- blue lips or fingers.
- fainting
It is worthy to note that these signs and symptoms are however different in children and adults.
